Overview
A VT Online Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality academic support to students in grades K-12 remotely via our online classroom. The tutor fosters a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment that encourages active and independent learning, supports academic growth, and builds student confidence. This role requires flexibility, teaching or tutoring experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to professional development.
Qualifications- Minimum High School Diploma required.
- College degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of consistent teaching or tutoring experience.
- Strong knowledge of specific subject areas and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to encourage, motivate, and engage students.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
