Role Description The Enrichment Teacher Part-Time role at Brainy Bots Club involves leading on-site coding and robotics STEAM classes for preschool and elementary-age learners in the Tampa Bay area. This is a part-time, on-site mobile position where the Enrichment Teacher prepares and delivers interactive lessons, sets up and manages classroom technology and materials, and guides students through hands-on projects in coding, robotics, and engineering concepts.
Daily responsibilities include supervising students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, providing clear instructions and demonstrations, and adapting lesson plans to different age groups and learning styles. The role also involves communicating with school staff and program coordinators, tracking student progress, and ensuring safety and classroom management standards are consistently met. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience facilitating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning that aligns with STEAM-focused learning objectives.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear instruction, active listening, and positive classroom interaction.
- Experience in Training or coaching learners, with the ability to support diverse learning needs and styles.
- Interest or experience in coding, robotics, or STEM/STEAM education.
- Prior work with children in school, camp, or enrichment settings is highly beneficial.
- Reliable transportation to travel to partner schools and community sites in the Tampa Bay area. (mileage reimbursement included)
- Ability to lift and transport classroom materials and equipment as needed.
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree in Education, STEM, or related field preferred.
- Background check eligibility and adherence to child safety and school policies.
