Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor
The Department of Biology within the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites applications for a full-time, non-renewable, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor position beginning August 15, 2026, and ending in May 2027.

The successful candidate will show a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and to supporting student learning in both lecture and laboratory settings.
Opportunities for collaborative research involving undergraduates and current members of the faculty are possible where research space and equipment are available through on-campus collaborators.
A Ph.D. in biology or a related field is preferred; strong ABD candidates will be considered. Prior undergraduate teaching experience, particularly in physiology, introductory biology, and laboratory instruction, is desirable.
