Role Description

We are seeking a Water Wastewater Project Manager to join our growing Resilience Water Team in Tampa, Florida. This role focuses on tackling water quality, scarcity, reuse, management, and resilience challenges through creative and sustainable solutions.

Role Accountabilities

• Lead tasks and projects for the planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater distribution and collection systems, pump/lift stations, and treatment plants.
• Develop design and construction documents such as reports, technical memoranda, and specifications to ensure effective project delivery.
• Support construction administration, ensuring processes align with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, demonstrating strong communication and coordination skills.
• Act as Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, overseeing critical tasks, developing scopes of work, and managing budgets.
• Assist client teams in identifying, tracking, and positioning new opportunities to strengthen relationships and drive growth.
• Participate in pursuit and capture planning and proposal preparation to secure future work.
• Travel locally for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, and construction oversight as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4 years of engineering and consulting experience, primarily in the municipal water market.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Project Management experience.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Strategic and analytical thinking about technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) license.
• 6 years of engineering and consulting experience in the municipal water/wastewater market.
• 3 years of experience in local municipal water/wastewater markets.
• Master’s degree (MS or MEng) in a related field.
• Active participation in regional or national professional associations.

$80,000 – $125,000 per year, varying by experience, education, budget, and location.
