Responsibilities
  • Representing EXP in client interactions by performing at a ‘responsible charge’ level
  • Managing project risks to minimize EXP’s and client’s exposure to problems
  • Facilitating coordination between the project team, client and other consultants
  • Managing project success through timely internal and external communication
  • Understanding actual progress towards meeting scheduled project milestones and working with the team to adjust course if necessary
  • Understanding project team needs and time constraints, communicating them with clients and actively managing expectations towards win-win solutions
  • Understand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the budget
  • Working with the project team to identify project scope changes and cost / time impact
  • Managing EXP quality by assuring QC process followed, and by reviewing all client deliverables
  • Manage project cash flow through timely invoices and collections
  • Manage existing client relationships and assist with developing new relationships
  • Provide lead engineering design or guidance in one’s discipline
What Your Experience Looks Like
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 8+ years of building HVAC or Electrical design experience, 5+ years of healthcare facility design experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer in State of Florida preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes and FGI
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Process oriented toward timely documenting of correspondence
  • Advanced equipment selection and analysis and ability to develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.

In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including health insurance, vacation time, and 401(k) retirement benefits.
