This is a full‑time on‑site Controls Engineer position based in Tampa, FL. The role involves designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, motion control, and robotic applications. The day‑to‑day tasks include identifying system requirements, providing engineering solutions, commissioning systems, and ensuring optimal performance. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and adhering to safety standards are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications- Expertise in Process Control and Motion Control
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and applications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem‑solving automation systems
- Experience with robotics and advanced automation systems
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on systems integration
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant industry certifications or training are a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in an on‑site team environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members
