I&C Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to lead the design and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for industrial and manufacturing plants
. This role focuses on system design, technical leadership, and cross‑discipline coordination for new facilities, expansions, and process upgrades. Licensure is not required; deep technical experience in plant control systems is key.

• Lead the design and specification of instrumentation and control systems for industrial and manufacturing plants
• Develop and review P&IDs, control narratives, and I/O lists
• Select and specify field instrumentation including flow, pressure, temperature, and level devices
• Design control system architecture, panel layouts, and network configurations
• Coordinate PLC, DCS, and HMI design with automation and electrical teams
• Review vendor documentation, data sheets, and technical submittals
• Support construction, installation, loop checks, and system commissioning
• Troubleshoot control system issues and support plant startups
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
• 8+ years of experience designing instrumentation and control systems for industrial or manufacturing plants
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA)
• Hands‑on experience with field instrumentation and control panel design
• Ability to read and produce P&IDs, control narratives, and system documentation
• Experience with industrial communication protocols and control networks
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions
