You’ll ensure the successful execution of Testing and Commissioning (T&C) activities, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality and safe signalling systems. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams), prepare and execute tests, analyse logs, and generate test reports, and much more.
Responsibilities- Deploying and ensuring the application of Installation and T&C processes by the ITC team within the project.
- Ensuring ITC activities are carried out correctly and on time, according to the plan, Alstom standards, and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with EHS (Zero deviation), reporting, and anticipating issues.
- Executing FMIs on‑site as per Engineering instructions.
- Preparing and executing tests, analysing logs, and creating test reports.
- Checking the compliance of Signalling systems against system specification documents and contractual requirements.
- Managing tools and ensuring accurate calibration.
- Providing daily reports, including periodic KPIs.
- Recording NCRs, documenting defect descriptions, and reporting results to system validation and punch list roll‑out.
- Issuing Returns on Experience (REX) for ITC activities and proposing updates/improvements to processes, tools, and the T&C Reference Library to optimise performance.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience or understanding of test and commissioning processes in engineering projects.
- Knowledge of signalling systems and compliance with system specification documents.
- Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards and procedures.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to analyse logs and prepare detailed test reports.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Problem‑solving skills and adaptability to identify and address design‑related issues.
- Continuous improvement mindset to propose updates to processes and tools.
- Proficiency in using tools and ensuring accurate calibration.
- Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
- Work with cutting‑edge signalling systems and advanced engineering tools to deliver high‑quality solutions.
