Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Control SCADA Systems Analyst with strong experience in PLC, and HMI development to support our utility client's 5031 Solar Self-Perform and 5648 RCC projects in Tampa, Florida.
This role will participate in the full software development lifecycle, working under the direction of Solution Architects within our Technology Energy Supply organization.
Note-No Corp. to Corp. All candidates must currently reside w/in 45 minutes of Tampa to be considered.
About the RoleThis position supports Energy Supply Solar and Battery applications
, with a strong focus on Ignition Perspective v8.1+ development and industrial control systems integration.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to design, develop, test, and deploy control and visualization solutions that power renewable energy infrastructure. Work
Location & Schedule- Local candidates only
- First 2 weeks: fully onsite (collaboration ramp-up period)
- Afterward:
Minimum 4 days onsite per week - Core collaboration hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET
- Flexible work options:
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET
Experience:
- Develop and maintain Ignition Perspective (v8.1+) web-based and mobile-responsive HMIs
- Design and program Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLCs (Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text)
- Build dashboards using Canary Axiom
- Develop and manage OSIsoft PI Asset Framework, PI Point Builder, and PI Vision
- Utilize Azure Dev Ops for source control, CI/CD, and work item tracking
- Perform technical and functional unit testing
- Participate in Agile/Kanban workflows
- Support Solar and Battery energy generation applications
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Ignition Perspective v8.1 SCADA and HMI development
- 1+ year experience with Azure Dev Ops (Git, CI/CD, Work Items)
- Strong understanding of:
- Technical & functional testing
- 3+ years Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC programming
- 3+ years in Utility or Renewable Energy Generation environments
- 1+ year Canary Axiom dashboard development
- 2+ years experience with OSIsoft PI Asset Framework analysis and event frame development
