Job Title: Network Engineer

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday

Reports To: Eric Guerra, Program Manager

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team working on HCA-related projects. This role will be responsible for supporting network operations, configuring devices, and assisting with server connectivity. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Cisco networking equipment, basic Windows Server knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot end‑user device connectivity issues.

• Configure and manage Cisco switch ports, VLAN assignments, and basic Layer 1–3 functions.
• Perform network commands to support camera installations, including configuring switch ports to align with VLAN requirements.
• Trace MAC addresses to identify and resolve connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot end‑user device and network connectivity problems.
• Work with third‑party vendors handling cabling and physical installation while ensuring proper logical configuration.
• Configure and maintain Windows Server operating system functions as needed for network operations.
• Configure and support NIC teaming on servers to ensure redundancy and performance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on network documentation, standards, and ongoing optimization.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (Layer 1–3).
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco IOS and related command-line operations.
• Experience configuring switch ports and VLANs.
• Ability to perform MAC address tracing and network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Experience with NIC teaming configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, engineers, and end‑users.
