Rimkus is seeking a Senior Consultant - Structural Engineer to join our Built Environment Solutions team. Our team operates globally with deep regional expertise, delivering tailored engineering and architectural solutions that help clients plan, build, and manage their assets effectively and sustainably. As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage your extensive structural engineering expertise to provide innovative, resilient, and practical solutions for a wide range of projects.
In this role, you will conduct advanced structural assessments, forensic investigations, and condition evaluations on various structures, contributing valuable insights to risk mitigation, asset management, and lifecycle planning. You will collaborate closely with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders to deliver technically sound reports and recommendations that support informed decision‑making and project success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform complex structural engineering analyses and assessments including forensic investigations, damage evaluations, and failure analysis.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Engage with clients to understand project needs and provide expert structural engineering advice.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and technical specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance and feasibility.
- Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
Master's degree preferred. - Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with expertise in forensic analysis and inspections.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and client‑facing skills.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
