A fast-growing design & build contractor is seeking an Associate Electrical Designer to join its engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their design career to work on large‑scale projects, gaining hands‑on experience across electrical and mechanical systems within a highly collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in supporting the design and modeling of building systems, working alongside experienced engineers and Revit technicians to deliver high‑quality, coordinated solutions.

• Support the design of electrical and mechanical systems across large‑scale construction projects
• Coordinate design solutions, balancing technical quality, client needs, and budget requirements
• Work closely with Revit/CADD technicians to develop and review models for accuracy and constructability
• Apply code knowledge to lighting, power, telecom, and fire alarm systems
• Perform photometric studies, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations
• Assist in reviewing drawings, submittals, and specifications
• Collaborate with wider engineering teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality outputs

• Some experience in electrical and/or mechanical design (internship or professional)
• Basic knowledge of Revit/CADD systems
• Understanding of electrical codes such as NEC, IBC, IECC, and ASHRAE
• Ability to perform or learn electrical system calculations and photometric analysis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, but not essential
