Kennedy Jenks is seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven Civil Engineer with a focus on water and wastewater projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of conveyance facilities, utility infrastructure, and treatment process improvement projects in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. We value engineers who thrive in interdisciplinary teams and contribute to project success from design through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare designs, specifications, drawings, and calculations, with support from senior engineers. Assists the Project Manager where needed.
Provide technical expertise to multidisciplinary project teams.
Write technical reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Support project management efforts from conception to construction; lead small projects and attend internal and external meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
6+ years of civil engineering experience; water/wastewater focus preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is required.

Experience with site design (layout, grading, drainage) and water/wastewater piping design preferred.
Knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, and pipeline/yard piping design; ability to grow technical expertise.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Micro Station, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $110,000 to $153,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
