Quiet Professionals, LLC is seeking a Digital Forensics Examiner (CELLEX/MEDEX) to work in Tampa, FL, and deploy as necessary to support USSOCOM. The role involves leveraging technical knowledge to perform digital forensics on various media, including multiple OCONUS deployments that may involve hostile fire areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leverage deep technical knowledge and a range of forensic tools to exploit digital media and report findings.
- Conduct multiple OCONUS deployments per year, including in hostile fire areas, supporting USSOCOM.
- Utilize tools like Cellebrite UFED4PC, Physical Analyzer, XRY, AXIOM, X-Ways, FTK Imager, Bulk Extractor, and Autopsy.
- Display proficiency with forensic imaging processes and handle various imaging formats and tools.
- Understand technical fundamentals of digital forensics, including mobile file systems, operating systems, and encryption.
- Assist in Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) and provide technical exploitation services globally.
- Conduct detailed forensic examinations without reliance on specific tools, and produce professional technical reports.
- Design, plan, and execute technical exploitation training and exercises.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing timely support and briefings to various stakeholders.
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
- Thorough understanding of digital forensics fundamentals, including mobile file systems, operating systems, and encryption.
- Proficiency with forensic tools such as Cellebrite UFED4PC, Physical Analyzer, XRY, AXIOM, and others.
- Knowledge of imaging formats, hashing algorithms, and hidden disk areas.
- Ability to handle hardware devices and assess damaged hardware.
- Experience in technical exploitation, including digital forensic investigations and software development.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, shell usage, and binary file analysis.
- Experience with mobile malware and the ability to detect and extract relevant artifacts.
- Industry or DoD standard forensic certification (e.g., CCME, CCO, CCPA, CMFF, CUFO).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master's Degree may substitute for additional experience.
