Réalis is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Construction Management Florida Team. This is an entry-level position based in Tampa, FL.

• Participate in engineering investigations and planning work, completing well‑defined tasks.
• Collect and analyze data using established procedures and perform routine calculations.
• Evaluate feasibility of alternate solutions.
• Observe construction activities and determine whether work is performed in substantial compliance with contract plans and specifications.
• Report observed deficiencies to senior field staff.
• Sample and test soil density, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials.
• Verify form construction rebar placement, concrete mixture, pile driving blow counts, drainage structure placement, subgrade and base construction.
• Write diary inspection reports, weather reports, and document test results and observations.
• Assist in record keeping and independently perform basic calculations to measure, track and report field measurements of installed quantities.
• Perform duties assigned by supervisor.

• 0–2 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) or a related discipline.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand contract plans and specifications.
• Ability to follow directions, take legible notes, and be physically fit to do manual labor and carry up to 60 lbs.
• No professional registration required; however, willingness to pursue certifications in nuclear density, aggregate, concrete and asphalt testing is expected.

Expected compensation range is between $57,000 – $72,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
