Electronic Design Engineer

PdMA Corporation is searching for a self-motivated Electrical/Electronic Engineer to support existing and new product development. Candidates will have a strong academic background with some experience in designing analog and digital circuitry. Embedded experience using an ARM based processor is also desired. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience developing and supporting battery powered, microprocessor based portable test and measurement equipment used within an industrial environment.

This position is within the Engineering Department and will work within cross functional groups consisting of electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing members to develop, design, qualify, introduce and support products and systems into production.

• Responsibilities:
  • Design Analog and Digital Circuitry
  • Design the PCB layout
  • Creation and execution of design validation test plans
  • Develop firmware and test sequences to support the development cycle
  • Develop internal and external product documentation to support manufacturing
  • Support product within Manufacturing
• Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, ABET accreditation is preferred
  • 3+ years of design experience
  • PCB layout experience using Altium Designer
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively within cross functional teams
  • Ability to use general lab equipment to support the development cycle

  • Verifying safety and regulatory requirements (e.g. EN-61000)
  • Program within a C/C++ environment
