Senior Transportation Engineer / Project Manager (Aviation)

• Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars.
• Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities.
• Supervise designers and CADD technicians.
• Perform and/or lead civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and professionals under the direction of the Aviation Service Director.
• Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative.
• Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience and detailed knowledge of FAA standards preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience for senior positions.
• Proficiency in design programs preferred (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
• Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and a focus on client service.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
