$140,000 - $170,000 + Bonus + Health Benefits + 401(k) + PTO

Tampa or Miami office-based, with some travel to the Caribbean

You will remain hands-on with design and engineering while developing client relationships, mentoring future team members, managing projects, and playing a key role in expanding the company's presence throughout the Southern U.S. and Caribbean.

This role would suit a PE-qualified Mechanical Engineer looking for the opportunity to build something of their own, lead from the front, and work on technically complex projects with long-term career growth.

The Role:

* Establish, lead, and grow a brand-new Mechanical Engineering department within an expanding consultancy

* Deliver hands-on mechanical design work

* Manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and mentor future junior engineers

* Some travel throughout the Caribbean while working on high-profile developments, with a competitive salary, bonus potential, PTO, 401(k), and comprehensive benefits package

The Candidate:

* Professional Engineer (PE) license holder

* Strong mechanical engineering background with expertise in HVAC design

* Previous consulting engineering experience with the ability to combine technical delivery, project management, and client-facing responsibilities
