Exercises independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project and accept general supervision and verbal instructions from the Project Resident Engineer. Experience with MAC required. Experience in CQR progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes. Should be familiar with the Department’s Procedures covering project-related duties as stated above and be proficient in the computer programs necessary to perform these duties.

Shall become trained in Multi‑Line, Engineering Menu. Must complete the State’s Final Estimate Self Study course and attend the Final Estimate Preparation Seminar for Constant CEIs or the District‑Specific Final Estimate Preparation Seminar.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Four (4) years of road and bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience having performed/assisted in the following project‑related duties: CQR, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, Supplemental Agreement/Amendment processing, etc.
• Or a Civil Engineering degree and completion of the Final Estimates CTQP Level II.
