Role DescriptionThe Project Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Tampa, FL, supporting project teams in planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities. This role assists with project scheduling, cost tracking, and documentation, ensuring work progresses according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. The Project Engineer collaborates with project managers, site supervisors, trade partners, and clients to resolve technical issues and maintain clear communication.
Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and submittals, supporting procurement of materials and equipment, monitoring progress in the field, and helping to manage change orders and RFIs. The role will require relication for projects. The role contributes to safety, environmental, and compliance initiatives, and supports continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Strong Communication skills for working with project teams, trade partners, and clients, including clear written and verbal reporting.
- Peior exposure to Project Management and Project Planning abilities to support scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and coordination of construction activities preferred but notvrequired.
- Project Engineering experience or education, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., scheduling tools, document control platforms, MS Office).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical practices, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, on‑site project environment.
