Automation Specialist 1

Performs basic instrumentation, controls and related systems designs using 3D and 4D programs. Assists with specification development. Creates basic human‑machine interface (HMI) graphics, PLC programming, report development, etc. Assists with testing and startup of control systems. Reviews simple component level shop drawings, contractor clarifications. Assist with testing oversight. May attend client/contractor meetings. Performs other duties as required.

Bachelor's degree. 0 years. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Basic knowledge of instrumentation, controls and related systems designs.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite of programs.
• Basic knowledge of 3D and 4D design practices.
