ResponsibilitiesExpand our client's footprint in the local stormwater market via targeted business development strategies, including growing specific client relationships and participating in select professional society activities.
Collaborate with the Stormwater Leads across the US to develop/implement strategy for continued stormwater growth and innovation.
Build a stormwater project delivery team in Florida.
Manage the planning and detailed design projects, including management of contract document production (i.e., plan sets and specifications), hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing, and other activities needed to support the planning, design, and construction services for stormwater management facilities.
Projects may include pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization, storage and treatment facilities, multi-benefit facilities, and other conveyance measures.
Work with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists, among others, who support specific assignments.
Some travel is required
QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil or environmental Engineering
Registration as a Professional Engineer
10+ years of experience in Storm water / Water Resource engineering
5 years of experience with client service and business development efforts, including project positioning, proposal preparation, interviews, and technical presentations
5+ years in the planning and design solutions for urban stormwater management challenges.
Strong design of Stormwater for municipal clients
Familiarity with standard stormwater analysis tools, including HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
Experience working with Florida Water Management Districts
Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (+)
