We are seeking an
Engineering Student for our Atlantic Canada District
, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available for 4 months starting September 2026 to work in Cape Breton, NS
.

As an Engineering Studentand depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

• Conducting trade quote reviews – verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
• Inputting and updating deficiency logs.
• Issuing warranties.
• Taking/coordinating progress photos.
• Updating, coordinating, and producing drawings.
• Performing quantity takeoffs.
• Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work.
• Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings.
• Setting up and maintaining record keeping.
• Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades.

• Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering or a related field preferred.
• A passion for working in a construction environment.
• Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
• Self-motivated with a hands‑on approach.
• Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
