A fastly growing Electrical Contractor in Florida is actively searching for a Electrical Estimator to join their estimating department at either the Tampa or Orlando office. This company focuses on new electrical projects for large Commercial/Multifamily buildings all throughout the Southeast Region.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate, train and assist estimating team.
• Develop material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for electrical projects.
• Identify potential cost-saving strategies and risks associated with estimates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review and refine estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with bid requirements.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews.
• Support project managers in budget development and cost analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices to improve estimating accuracy.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
