Civil Supervisor – Transmission & Substation Projects
Find Talent, a premier recruitment firm, is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Supervisor – Transmission & Substation Projects for a leading utility company. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a background in transmission Right-of-Way (ROW) improvements and substation site preparation projects to lead and supervise a dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will oversee and collaborate with the civil engineering team on Request for Proposals (RFPs), while managing construction managers and vendors across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction teams and vendors involved in transmission ROW improvements and substation site preparation projects.
- Work with the civil engineering team to prepare, review, and manage RFPs for upcoming projects.
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Track and manage project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Extensive experience in transmission ROW improvements and substation site preparation.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with experience managing construction teams and vendors.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and clients.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must reside in Florida and be available to work onsite (no remote work).
