We are seeking an experienced Senior - Supervising Engineer I to join our growing team in Tampa, FL
. This role requires significant mechanical design experience and a desire to grow and manage junior mechanical engineers.
- Represent the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members.
- Design large mechanical projects, prepare reports and specifications, and provide high‑level technical leadership.
- Provide consulting services, including due diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility studies.
- Develop sustainable mechanical solutions, producing concepts and detailed drawings.
- Oversee the production of drawings consistent with client requirements and standards.
- Coordinate with design team, owners, and contractors.
- Establish design standards, specifications, and project criteria.
- Prepare proposals and administer project contracts, including add‑on service agreements.
- Conduct business‑development activities, participate in trade organizations, and prepare presentations.
- Establish project budgets and schedules.
- Participate in the QA/QC process of completed work by staff.
- Manage staff resources and perform performance reviews.
- Current EIT and/or PE registration as a mechanical engineer.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in a consulting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
- Strong ability to coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit.
- LEED AP accreditation preferred.
- Experience designing mechanical systems for commercial, mixed‑use, mission‑critical, life‑science, and R&D facilities is a plus.
- PE license required.

$93,292 – $148,931 USD (salary commensurate with experience).
