Graduate Civil Engineer II - Land Development​/Public Works - Tavares, FL

Halff is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Land Development / Public Works team in Tavares, FL. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree, and knowledge in public works and/or land development design, including roadway, utility, and drainage design.

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public works and land development projects.
• Assist with drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public works and/or land development design, including roadway, utility, and drainage design.
• Actively obtaining Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
• Experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Solid relationship and team building skills.
• Self-motivated and strong organization skills.
