Experienced Avionics Technician (2nd Shift) - Tampa, FL

Responsibilities
  • Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of avionics systems on board aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center.
  • Isolate and repair avionics system issues based on customer complaints, following FAA procedures.
  • Analyze in‑flight data and customer feedback to diagnose and correct issues.
  • Identify and resolve defects in units or wiring discrepancies.
  • Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed.
  • Accompany pilots to conduct functional tests on repaired or aligned systems as needed.
  • Perform duties based on aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and both oral and written instructions.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or a GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair is required.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification is helpful.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable, is required.
