Structural Engineer

Job Description

Réalis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Bridges and Civil Structures Team. This is an entry-level position based out of Tampa, Florida.

Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures. Support the senior engineers by preparing reinforcement lists, quantity take-offs, and redlines for bridges and civil structures. Complete technical training courses assigned for career development. Participate in the Quality Control process for design and plan development.

Experience
:
No experience required. 0-2 years of related civil engineering experience preferred.

Education
:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required. Master of Science in Structural Engineering preferred.

Special Skills
:
Ability to perform fundamental checks from AASHTO LRFD related to moment, shear, deflection, and stress. 3D analysis is preferred. Experience with FDOT MathCAD templates preferred.

Professional Registrations
: E.I. or E.I.T. required.

Expected compensation range is between $75,000 and $80,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
