-based global infrastructure advisor specializing in transportation and environmental planning for coastal, harbor, and water resources projects.
- Collaborate with design, planning and environmental staff to build internal and external transportation planning teams.
- Lead business development and project management, including production and presentation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, engineering disciplines, sub‑consultants, and vendors.
- Serve as program/project manager for traffic engineering/operations, NEPA and environmental documentation, and transportation planning contracts.
- Manage inputs from external partners during document preparation and consulting management.
- Monitor, track, and report pursuits and project progress.
- Assist in identifying required planning, environmental, and engineering resources.
- Other duties:
- Mentoring and training.
- Outreach and support for freight, supply chain, seaport, rail terminal, and waterborne commerce efforts.
- Engage in quality assurance.
- Participate on regulatory and research committees.
- Stay updated on advancements in environmental planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban/City/Regional Planning, or Environmental Studies.
- 12+ years of experience in transportation/transit planning and environmental documentation.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification.
- Experienced in business development, negotiation, and proposal preparation with FDOT.
- Experience leading plan preparation for projects of varying size primarily with FDOT.
- Team building and recruiting expertise.
- Willing to complete post‑offer background check in compliance with NIST 800-171.
