We are seeking manufacturing engineers to design, develop and implement new or revised manufacturing and production processes for the efficient and economical production of aerospace products. This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, supporting Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality and Mission Assurance across all facilities.

- Translate engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
- Generate, manage and close non‑conformance reports (NCR).
- Support introduction of new products by creating manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans and tool lists.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.
- Drive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in advancing the efficiency and reliability of aerospace components through cutting‑edge assembly methods. You will manufacture and assemble hardware on our premier launch vehicle, New Glenn.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar (3+ Level II Engineer, 5+ Level III Engineer).
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong written, personal, technical and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
- Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM), author work instructions, and disposition non‑conforming material on the production floor.
- Hands‑on experience with building flight hardware.
- Experience with design, development or production of launch vehicle, spacecraft or satellites.
- Proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (Creo or CATIA V5).
- Customer focused with a proven track record of working cooperatively with teams of different skills across large geographic distances.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
