Water Resources EIT​/Designer

In the Water Business Group, you will help shape how communities manage water for future generations, delivering safe drinking water, treating wastewater responsibly, and developing sustainable water supplies while protecting public health and environmental sustainability.

As a Water Resources Designer/EIT, you will work under project engineers applying design engineering and modeling techniques to water resource projects for federal, state, and local municipalities.

• Apply hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations.
• Work on projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues, non-point source loading, and point source design.
• Produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and perform water resources studies.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

• Candidate without an EIT will be assigned a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Preference given to local candidates.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to complete tasks.
