Technical Leader, PE-Water and Wastewater Utilities

Overview

Halff has an immediate opening for a Technical Leader in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will bring civil engineering experience with a focus on Water/Wastewater in the consulting industry and/or working with, or for, public sector clients.

• The successful candidate should have experience managing Water/Wastewater Utility projects or coordinating tasks of moderate size and complexity, make decisions independently and resolve complex problems.
• Perform business development, manage budgets, personnel, schedules, subconsultants, and client interaction as part of project delivery.
• Support operations managers and practice leaders in business development and pursuit of Water/Wastewater Utility opportunities.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10 years of experience supporting Water/Wastewater Utility projects including facility design and planning, Water and Wastewater System planning and design, and hydraulic modeling of water and wastewater systems. Licensed PE, preferably in Florida or the ability to obtain immediately. Water/Wastewater treatment experience is a plus.
• Responsible for business development, production, mentoring of young staff, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed yet a team player with a focus on quality, integrity and success.
