This position may be considered as a hybrid role with occasional project travel, supporting the project managers, engineers, construction managers, and other project team members.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside Senior Estimators to prepare and validate project cost estimates, develop estimating skills, and gain hands‑on experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure projects throughout all phases of project development.
  • Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates for capital projects.
  • Review engineering documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop estimate quantities and pricing assumptions.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs and estimate organization using established estimating methodologies.
  • Develop labor, equipment, material, subcontract, and indirect cost estimates.
  • Support estimate benchmarking and comparison against historical project data.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management personnel to gather estimate inputs.
  • Assist in identifying project risks, opportunities, assumptions, and exclusions.
  • Participate in estimate reviews and estimate validation workshops.
  • Support development of estimate reports and client deliverables.
  • Maintain estimating databases, productivity factors, and estimate documentation.
  • Assist with development of AACE Class 5, Class 4, and Class 3 estimates.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction, estimating, project controls, engineering, procurement, or related project delivery disciplines.
  • Basic understanding of construction methods, project execution, and capital project development.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, energy, utility, infrastructure, or EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Familiarity with quantity takeoffs and estimate development.
  • Exposure to engineering drawings, equipment lists, or construction documents.
  • Understanding of project schedules and construction sequencing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with estimating databases, cost benchmarking, or capital project estimating practices.
What You Will Gain
  • Opportunity to work on complex industrial and capital projects across North America.
  • Exposure to engineering, procurement, construction, and project management functions.
