Systems Engineer
Description
Our client is an established engineering organization supporting DoD and Military programs in the Tampa bay area. We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support one of their recently awarded program. You will be partnering with Program Managers, Engineers, Customer, and other stakeholders to ensure success full delivery and partnership.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture, considering both technical and operational aspects, and align delivery plans with overall project timelines and milestones.
- Support installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues.
Skills & Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- 8+ years experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architecture
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- Software/Hardware Systems integration experience
- Working in a Devops, Cloud, Containerized environment
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Active or elgibility for a TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, like CAMEO
- Experience in a customer-facing or consulting role
- Experience with system architectures that include software containerization, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure
Environment:
Hybrid 3 days on site in Tampa. Role is full time and set up as a Contract to Hire. You will receive PTO, Holidays, Health Insurance, 401k, etc during the time with Actalent. When converting permanent, client has very competitive benefits for all of their employees.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $95.00/hr.
