Automation Engineer

A rapidly growing organization is investing heavily in robotics and warehouse automation and is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to help lead the next generation of its distribution operations.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll own automation projects from design through deployment and go-live.

• Lead deployment of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), conveyors, sortation, and other material-handling systems
• Serve as the technical lead during commissioning and go-live
• Help design automation for a new greenfield warehouse, including layout, material flow, and AMR fleet sizing
• Partner with integration teams to connect automation with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational technology
• Evaluate robotics and automation vendors and help shape technology and capital investment decisions
• Work directly with distribution and operations leadership to solve real-world automation challenges

• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, robotics, or automation engineering experience
• Hands-on experience deploying and commissioning AMR systems such as Locus, Fetch, MiR, or similar
• Experience with conveyor/sortation systems and warehouse material flow
• Understanding of WMS and automation integration
• Comfortable working on the warehouse floor during deployments and go-lives
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across engineering, operations, and vendor teams
