Princeton Tool Inc, a leader in advanced machining for the aerospace, defense, power generation, and medical sectors, is seeking a Process Engineer for our Engineering & Design department. In this role, you will develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for complex precision components, driving improvements in quality, cost, and throughput. You will collaborate closely with design, production, and quality teams to implement new technologies and tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and document machining and manufacturing processes for complex aerospace and defense components
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure parts and assemblies are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality and performance requirements
  • Establish and refine process parameters, tooling, and fixturing for CNC and precision machining operations
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools to increase throughput, reduce scrap, and improve first-pass yield
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process-related nonconformances
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures in compliance with aerospace and defense quality standards
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing robust, scalable production processes
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process enhancement
  • Partner with operations, quality, and programming teams on day-to-day troubleshooting and long-term process roadmaps
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, precision, and teamwork across the Engineering & Design department
