Mott Mac Donald is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing Water and Wastewater team ineither our Tampa or Jacksonville office. As part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and project managers, you will contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of critical water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects that serve communities throughout Florida and beyond.

Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with a team of engineers and designers, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide engineeringexpertisein the evaluation, analysis, and resolution of electrical andcontrolsengineering challenges.
- Design electrical power distribution, instrumentation, controls, and SCADA systems for water and wastewater facilities and related infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and other project deliverables through all phases of design.
- Perform power system studies, including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and load flow analyses.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions.
- Support projects during construction through review of RFIs, submittals, field observations, startup assistance, and coordination with contractors and clients.
- Conduct technical and quality reviews of engineering deliverables.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management activities.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Support business development efforts andmaintainstrong client relationships.
We invite applications from candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain Florida licensure within twelve(12) months.
- Minimum of4-7yearsof progressive electrical engineering experience, preferably supporting municipal water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations, utility infrastructure, transportation, energy, or industrial projects.
- Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities, including:
- Low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems
- Motor control centres (MCCs)
- Variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Standby generator systems
- Automatic transfer switches (ATS)
- Lighting and grounding systems
- SCADA and industrial communications systems
- Process instrumentation and control systems
- Understanding of electrical andcontrolssystems associated with treatment processes, pumping systems, and utility infrastructure.
- Experience supporting power system studies using SKMPower
Tools, ETAP, or similar software. - Familiarity with process instrumentation including flow, pressure, level, analytical, and related field devices is desirable.
- Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), SKM,ETAP, AGi
