As
Project Manager, Roadway
, you willbe responsible for roadway, municipal, transit, and aviation clients while also providing effective and efficient management of day-to-day operations within the transportation team.
- Maintain a close working relationship with all discipline leads, department heads, other project managers, project controls staff, and construction personnel.
- Oversee and manage the overall engineering and design and delivery on both conventional and design-build projects for roads and highway.
- Maintaina high levelof technical quality onthe projects.
- Take an active role inidentifyingnew businesses andparticipatein the proposal process andremaininginvolvedtotechnical and client oversight throughout the life of the project.
- Identify new opportunities byleveragingprofessional networks in the region andassistingin growing the business.
- Mentor project staff andparticipatein the hiring process.
- Serve as a functional manager for an engineering team, responsible for career development and performance reviews.
- Provide technicalexpertise, ensuring the highest quality of engineering is put forth to meet all design criteria requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineeringrelatedtechnical field.
- 10+ years of design and project management delivery experience on heavy transportation infrastructure projects.
- Experience meeting operational business goals, client management,win strategies, and bid preparation.
- Must have a proven track recordof successful delivery for road/highway projects according to FDOT standards – conventional and design/build project execution.
- Professional Engineering License in the State of Florida Required.
Compensation: The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
