POSITION CONCEPTThe CAD Drafter is responsible for creating and maintaining distribution standards, drawings, and technical documents that support the engineering design and construction of the electric distribution system. Develops drawings ranging from standard to complex and ensures all documentation ensures line personnel safety while advancing system reliability and resiliency.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESKey Internal: DEO, REO, DCC, SPP, ECPM, ADI.
Key External: Contractors, Customers, and Vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS EducationRequired: Associate's degree in Computer Design (CAD)
or Equivalent CAD Drafting Certification
Preferred: Associate's degree in Engineering Technology
ExperienceRequired: 3 years of experience using standard computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD or Micro Station).
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesRequired: AutoCAD and/or Micro Station
Preferred: Micro Station Bentley Software Suite

Normal office environment and possible travel within the Tampa Electric Service Area.
