Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining close ties and high levels of satisfaction with targeted guests in order to generate incremental gaming revenues.
AppearanceHow we look & appear to each guest provides an important impression of our Company. Non‑permitted guidelines include unnatural hair color, visibly explicit or offensive tattoos, facial tattoos, ear piercings that alter the shape and/or size of the ear, any visible body or facial piercings other than two (2) piercings per ear, facial hair longer than ½ inch in length or mustaches that extend past ¼ inch below the upper lip.

- Achieves quotas provided by management for room goals, new business, events, entertainment, etc.
- Actively and consistently communicates with the assigned guests.
- Effectively handles customer complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Greets guests in the casino and participates in social events and special promotions.
- Increases the growth of gaming revenues through development of a targeted customer base.
- Promotes the Unity Loyalty program and related promotions.
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
- Keeps informed of competitive promotions.
- Maintains relationships and markets our gaming product and amenities to our valued guests.
- Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.
- Must have excellent communication skills, tact and judgment, high moral integrity and strong work ethic.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provides special services to include food, beverage, transportation, cross‑property events and Player’s Club programs.
- Responsible for telemarketing to active and inactive customers by mail and phone to further develop brand loyalty and visitation to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and reports the results of these efforts.
- Safeguards the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.
- Tracks guest’s visits, arranges accommodations and provides complimentaries according to established guidelines.
- Updates guest history for future visits.
- 3 years of experience as a Casino Host required.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fluency in languages other than English is preferred.
- Experience in casino and/or hotel environment required.
- Experience in gaming machines and/or table games required.
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, team building and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
