The Slot Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa in Tampa, FL. This role oversees slot operations on the casino floor, ensuring games are running efficiently and in compliance with company policies and gaming regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising slot attendants, coordinating staffing needs, monitoring machine performance, and responding promptly to guest inquiries or service issues.
The Slot Supervisor supports a high level of customer service, assists with player disputes, and helps promote slot marketing initiatives and loyalty programs. The role also involves coaching and training team members, assisting with hiring recommendations, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other departments to support a safe, engaging, and welcoming gaming environment.
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and performance oversight in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact clearly with guests, team members, and management.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences and resolving issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Training and Coaching skills to develop slot team members, reinforce procedures, and support ongoing performance improvement.
- Candidates should possess Hiring and Talent-support skills, such as participating in interviews, onboarding, and staffing decisions.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in casino or hospitality operations, knowledge of slot machine functions and gaming regulations, proficiency with basic computer systems, and the ability to stand and walk on the casino floor for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; prior supervisory experience in gaming, hospitality, or a related field is strongly preferred.
