Overview
A privately held investment and operating organization is seeking a Director of Tax to lead tax strategy across a complex portfolio of entities, including trusts, estates, partnerships, and operating companies.
This role works directly with the CFO and plays a critical role in shaping tax strategy for a sophisticated, multi-entity environment.
Responsibilities- Lead tax planning and strategy across trusts, estates, partnerships, and operating entities
- Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance and filings
- Partner with the CFO and external advisors on structuring, transactions, and long-term tax strategy
- Manage complex multi-entity tax matters in a private, closely held environment
- Monitor tax law changes and assess impact on the organization
- Provide leadership on tax risk management and optimization
- CPA required
- Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience required
- Significant trust and estate tax experience required
- Experience with partnerships and complex entity structures
