The Financial Analyst works with the BRP Finance team on strategic opportunities, financial modeling, and creates & produces operational reports that track service level standards and business unit achievement.

Principal Responsibilities:
* Performs data mining, analytics, concept development, and auditing
* Supports business segment leaders by generating monthly and quarterly reports for discussion with respective team and partners
* Develops ad-hoc reports to conduct data analysis
* Interacts with Accounting team to generate monthly financial reports
* Generates budgets across multiple business segments
* Conducts advanced metric reporting
* Participates in continuous quality improvement process

Education, Experience,

Skills and Abilities

Requirements:
* 1+ years' experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate FP&A, or Public Accounting
* Background in working with professional service businesses
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with additional professional development or designations preferred, such as CFA
* Experience with analyzing M&A transactions, including financial modeling and transaction execution
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and system databases required
* Strong analytical skills, including analysis, data collection, process mapping and troubleshooting for root cause
* Must be detail-oriented and achieve timeline results
* Must demonstrate the organization’s core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
* Able to interact with various levels of leadership both inside and outside the organization
