We are currently seeking a Financial Manager for a heavy civil construction client of ours in Tampa, FL. The Financial Manager serves as the direct line of communication between the accounting department and the Vice President.

- Support annual business planning and forecasting processes
- Lead training and development initiatives related to financial procedures and controls
- Mentor accounting and field personnel to promote professional growth
- Coordinate financial documentation and analysis related to project claims
- Conduct periodic site visits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Participate in project stakeholder meetings and support client‑facing financial discussions
- Develop and refine analytical reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision‑making
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in project‑based or construction accounting preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
