Financial Controller

As a Controller in our large (50+ Providers), multi-location, specialty practice, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including:

• Bookkeeping
• Accounts Payable
• Benefits Administration
• Financial Reporting
• Internal Financial Controls
• Interfacing with accounting, retirement, payroll, and tax professionals

This position requires working on site.

In addition, you will provide analyses and projections for new service lines and locations, and do monthly monitoring of Practice and Regional profit centers:

• Analyzing revenue, costs, and profitability
• Providing leadership and decision support for managed care contracts
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Maintaining monthly dashboards
• Contributing to strategic decision-making through data analysis
• Collaborating with Physician leadership
• Ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory statutes and internal Controls

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, healthcare management or a related field; master’s degree is highly preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a financial leadership position; healthcare setting (i.e., in a hospital and/or large physician practice) highly preferred
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills and expertise in Excel
• High level of expertise in Quick Books or other accounting packages
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with Physician and Administrative leaders throughout the organization.
• Proven success in a financial leadership role within a healthcare setting.
