The Senior Manager of FP&A is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, providing strategic insights to senior leadership, and managing a team of analysts. This position must effectively work with other senior and executive level management, shareholders, financial institutions, corporate counsel, outside auditors and insurance providers. The Senior Manager of FP&A will accept full responsibility for the accounting and administrative functions of the Company and support the continued growth and profitability of the Company.

The Senior Manager of FP&A will report to the VP of Finance Operations.

This position works with the Company in all financial functions including accounting, budget, cash management, insurance, tax, banking relationships, payroll and internal audit. The Senior Manager of FP&A will work proactively with the VP of Finance Ops and executive team to achieve the organization’s financial goals and specifically will assume responsibility for: actively managing all facets of day‑to‑day corporate finance, treasury and operational accounting functions;

including calculations of physician compensation and preparing analysis of financial information used by other senior managers to drive improved results and profitability.

  • Preparing and presenting timely financial reports and analysis to be used by the appropriate stakeholders and assisting management in decision making and ensuring focus on the proper metrics, including but not limited to, EBITDA reconciliation and weekly revenue reporting.
  • Working with other key management team members to execute the operating, growth and profitability strategy of the company.
  • Managing the treasury functions, including the preparation of lender call materials and lender reports.
  • Identifying ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems
  • Monitoring and managing the organization’s cash flow.
  • Managing corporate budgets, financial forecasts and board presentations.
  • Analyzing financial performance and budget variances.
  • Assisting senior management in formulating new business proposals, integration of new practices and other growth initiatives in cross‑functional partnership with real estate and ops and physicians.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the culture and values of the organization that will provide the setting for world‑class shareholders, customer, employee, and strategic partner satisfaction.
  • Establishing and monitoring staff performance and development goals, assigning accountabilities, setting objectives, establishing priorities, conducting annual performance appraisals, and administering salary adjustments.
  • Reviewing the calculations of physician compensation monthly and capable of addressing problems, questions, and issues raised by a physician.
  • Developing, distributing and acting upon meaningful reports to shareholders, management and the Board.
  • Actively participate with the Executive Team in planning and execution of strategic initiatives and operational plans to maximize revenues and EBITDA.

  • Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • CPA a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management role ideally with healthcare and physician practices.
