AR Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented AR Specialist to join our growing team. The primary goal of this position is to manage accounts receivable processes and collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline operations and enhance financial health.

• Research and determine the root cause for deductions and/or past due invoices to minimize future occurrences by working closely with customers and internal business partners.
• Contact customers and internal business partners to gather information related to the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.
• Provide frequent analysis of customer account status and updates to management as needed.
• Review orders that appear on the hold/release report and take the required action.
• Prepare a weekly worklist for collection activity and ad hoc reports as assigned.
• Monitor daily incoming cash receipts, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers for effective collection management.
• Proactively identify trends and assist in implementing process improvements.
• Partner with sales management and customer service management to ensure the highest level of professionalism and customer service in resolving outstanding issues.

• 2+ years of AR experience, including collections or deductions experience.
• High School Diploma at a minimum.
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, accounts payable, receivables, aging reports, and deductions.

• Experience in a corporate AR environment.
• SAP experience preferred.

This position is fully on-site with a business casual dress code. The AR group is expanding due to ongoing acquisitions, offering opportunities for career advancement into corporate finance or accounting teams within the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
