Two partners are planning retirement within the next five years. Others will follow after that. This role exists because the firm is planning ahead, not reacting.

It’s a 25 person, pure tax firm with almost no turnover and a very deliberate approach to progression. No audit. No corporate layers. No disappearing partners.

From day one, you are trusted with real work and real responsibility. You will prepare and review returns across individuals, S Corps, partnerships, trusts, and estates, with a typical split of around 60 percent preparation and 40 percent review.

You will work closely with managers and partners who are present, accessible, and invested in developing their people. This is not a volume driven compliance shop.

The firm prefers people to start in the office because learning, mentoring, and influence happen faster face to face. Once you are established, most of the team works from home two to three days per week, with flexibility around start and finish times.

The client base is varied and engaging. Closely held businesses, partnerships, trusts, small estates, and the occasional 990. Typical client revenues run up to around $5 million.

This suits someone with around five to six years of public accounting experience who is comfortable across both preparation and review and wants a clear next step rather than another sideways move.

CPA progress is preferred, not because they want letters on a resume, but because they want people moving forward.
