The Business Analyst – Fixed Income will be responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and supporting product, trading, risk, and operations teams across the Fixed Income domain. The role involves working with stakeholders to design solutions, enhance systems, ensure data accuracy, and support regulatory/reporting functions in fixed‑income markets such as bonds, rates, credit products, and related derivatives.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Tampa, FL is $90k - $95k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
  • Responsibilities:
    Gather, document, and validate business requirements for Fixed Income trading, pricing, risk, and settlement workflows.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct gap analysis for system enhancements or regulatory changes (MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd‑Frank, etc.).
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets (depending on level required).
  • Prior experience in Fixed Income domain is mandatory.
  • Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, quants, and operations users to understand front-to-back processes for:
  • Government & corporate bonds
  • Structured credit products
  • Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, and other FI derivatives
